Thought in my spare time today while Aart is half a world away, I’d drop by and see what was new on Pink Fluffy Icing. What a surprise and mistake that was. First the surprise that you’ve combined forces and started this new site, and mistake that I’ve been sucked into it for the last 20 minutes and find myself strangely mesmerized. Love it all. Come home soon…it’s eerily quiet without you.
Love the new site! I was concerned that it might be tough to become a subscriber when I had to pass a test to join. I had to identify the characters in this blob of lines: (attempt to past the graphic here were not successful). Well, in any case, I had to go with intuition since actual recognition was not possible, then, amazingly, I passed the test! Whew! that was a challenge. So now I can continue to track your blog. I’ll email you the blob so you can guess what you think it it is;-)

It’s almost impossible that you’ve seen this painting before. While it isn’t at all uncommon for artists to reproduce copies of other works, this painting was done from a reference photo that Rick shot himself a few hundred yards from the pier in Santa Cruz, CA.
